Sitellite is offered under two separate licenses for two different audiences of users. This enables us to produce higher quality software at a much lower cost than proprietary CMS vendors.

The two licenses include:

Open Source Edition

The Open Source Edition is released under the GNU GPL license, and it is free to use and modify under the terms of the GPL.

Professional Edition

The Professional Edition licenses is a standard commercial software license, which allows you to provide commercial software licenses to your customers and distribute Sitellite-based solutions. This license is intended for companies who do not want to release the source code for their own applications as Open Source / Free Software; in other words they do not want to comply with the GNU GPL license.

In addition to the license difference, the Professional Edition also features the following additional benefits:
