Sitellite is able to run in Fast CGI mode under some circumstances. One successful circumstance is using the Lite Speed web server which is documented in the following forum thread:

Note that they mention that Sitellite's default .htaccess settings ought to work in Lite Speed 2.1+ and the latest version at the moment of Lite Speed is 2.1.4 so the extra steps may be completely unnecessary.
